Harlem Hilton Memorial
A 15-year veteran, Lt. Michael R. Davidson of the Engine 69 “The Harlem Hilton” died battling a fire on a movie set. They asked me to place in in the doorway of the fire department looking out at the basketball courts where he played with is fellow firefighters and local youth. The nearest helmet on the shelf has his shield number and the rest of the shields read “5555” which is the code for fallen firefighter. It now permanently hangs at the legendary “Harlem Hilton” firehouse.
